Small slow cookers
The most obvious use for small slow cookers it to cook for just one or two people. There are small slow cookers on the market today that are about one and a half quarts. As slow cooker cooking has evolved, small slow cookers have taken on various uses. Some of these uses are:
• Dips – using an assortment of small slow cookers to keep several different dips warm during a party is a great entertaining idea.
• Sauces work wonderfully in small slow cookers. One fun option for a children’s ice cream party is to keep chocolate and caramel sauce warm in small slow cookers for drizzling over ice cream.
• Fondue – the constant heat of a small slow cooker works amazingly well for keeping fondue warm and ready for dipping.Small slow cookers were once only used for one or two people. Now, many cooks acquire a collection of best small slow cookers because they function so well as warm dip, sauce and fondue servers. Small slow cookers are a great investment for a home cook that enjoys entertaining.
